Final Fantasy 2 Pixel Remaster 100% Walkthrough - Snowcraft
This part of the Walkthrough will guide you through how to get the Snowcraft to be able to reach the Snow Cavern.
So we ended last chapter just after exiting Bafsk Cave. The next thing we need to do is go back to Poft.
Once you arrive in Poft go into the bar and talk to Cid, choose Ask > Dreadnought then Ask > Airship and he will then mention a new Password, Sunfire, be sure to learn it.
You can now leave for Altair to go and see the princess, as usual you can either walk back or just pay Cid’s assistant to take the airship there.
In Altair, go to the hideout to speak with Hilda, here Minwu will leave your party to go look after the King, if you are playing the original FF2 make sure to remove all of Minwu’s gear, if you are playing the Pixel Remaster you don’t have to worry about this.
Ask the princess about Sunfire, she will explain that it is the Crest of the Kashuan Kingdom.
Leave the room and go into the one directly to the right of this one, in here you will see the King, talk to him and Ask him about Sunfire, he will mention the next Password, “Goddess’s Bell”, learn this one also.
Go back into Hilda’s room one more time to Ask her about the “Goddess’s Bell”, she will tell you to return to Salamand to ask Josef about it.
Head to Salamand and enter the top right house to speak to Josef, Ask him about the Goddess’s Bell and he will explain that you will first need the Snowcraft, that he keeps in the Semitt Falls mines.
Here Josef will also join your party. Don’t worry about giving him a weapon, Josef’s strongest weapons at this point are his unarmed fists.
We now need to head back to Semitt Falls, when we go inside, very shorrtly after entering if we head left you will see a blue crystal, interact with the wall a bit further up on the right from the crystal to reach a secret room.
Inside the secret room is where we can find the Snowcraft in the final chest we needed for Semitt Falls that we couldn’t get on our first visit here.
Now that we have the Snowcraft our next objective is to reach the Snow Cavern!
