Chapter 4 covers Lon Lon Ranch as child Link. Now that Talon is back at the ranch, you can play his Cucco game for your first Empty Bottle, learn Epona's Song from Malon, and grab the Heart Piece hidden in the silo.
There are also 2 Gold Skulltulas in Lon Lon Ranch. One is available now and the other needs the Boomerang.
Getting to Lon Lon Ranch
Lon Lon Ranch sits in the middle of Hyrule Field. The entrance is on the north side, directly in front of the exit from Hyrule Town.
Talon's Cucco Game and the First Bottle
Go into the house on the left side of the ranch. Talon is inside, back from the castle. Talk to him during the daytime and pay 10 Rupees to play his game.
He releases a group of Cuccos, and three of them are his special Super Cuccos. Pick up Cuccos and throw them aside until you find all three, within the time limit.
Win and you receive Lon Lon Milk in a Bottle. Drink the milk (it heals 5 hearts per half), and the Empty Bottle is yours to keep.
As soon as you enter the ranch, if you head to the left behind the houses you will find a tree, roll into this tree and a Gold Skulltula will fall out, defeat it and pick up the Token.
Epona's Song
During the day, Malon is singing in the middle of the horse corral, with the young horse Epona nearby. Talk to her a couple of times then pull out the Ocarina and she will teach you Epona's Song.
Playing Epona's Song next to a cow makes it give you Lon Lon Milk if you have an empty Bottle, which is a cheap way to refill healing items. As an adult, it also calls Epona.
Heart Piece, the Silo
Go into the silo, the tall building at the back of the ranch. Inside, pull and climb the crates to reach the the hole behind the crates. The Piece of Heart is through this hole
Lon Lon Ranch 2nd Gold Skulltulas
The 2 Gold Skulltula at Lon Lon Ranch can only be obtained once we have the Boomerang so we will come back for that later on in this walkthrough.
